Here's another craft project I did a few months ago. I wanted something to cover up my Kitchenaid mixer, but didn't really want to spend the money to go buy something (especially when it wouldn't be hard to make something). So, I grabbed some scrap fabric I had sitting around and made this cover. Nothing too special, but it does the job and holds some cookbooks.
