Outdoor Inspiration

Since I don't have any of my own projects quite finished yet (this weekend I hope!!!), I thought I would share some of the different web pages that have been inspiring me lately. I have all sorts of wish lists, but unfortunately no time or extra money to do all of them. I don't want to forget about unique ideas so I keep a couple of binders of ideas from the web and different magazines (usually from Real Simple and Better Homes and Gardens) I also look at the various blogs I have listed on the right hand toolbar of this blog.

Enjoy and if you try any of these projects, let me know how it goes!

This first one is from Sunset (here's the link). Sunset is a magazine that specializes in "How To Live In The West" I just discovered it, but have liked what I have seen thus far. I really want a patio, but I can't justify putting the cost into the house when we're going to move after graduation. (I'm thinking of some more creative cheaper options that I might be able to bring with us..like just putting down an outdoor rug or something...) Don't you just love the retro cool to it? It's very geometric (which is very me)

This project I'm definitely going to do. It's a cot conversion from Martha. (here is the link) I love outdoor furniture, but I don't want to spend money. This is so cute and easy. I just need to find some outdoor fabric I'm in love with first. Hobby Lobby has nice cot cushions I might have to purchase to cover.

This is another excerpt from Sunset (link here) I think i might just have to try this for a big BBQ I have planned for the beginning of the school year. I think I probably have all the supplies sitting around.

I am also thinking about trying this one out. I'm not exactly sure where to put them in my house, but they are so darn cute, I have to figure out a way to use them. I was thinking about doing something a bit different; maybe using yard stakes instead. Evangeline's Vine came up with this great idea. (link here) BTW...I just discovered her blog and am about to add her to my favorite blogs!

Picture comes from Evangeline's Vine.

Hopefully, I'll someday get to post projects that are as awesome as these!:
