At Oakwood Acres, we love animals. It was only a manner of time until we added chickens to our homestead. If you know anything about me, you know that we can't just add a simple coop. Well, we could. There is certainly nothing wrong with a practical coop. I find joy in making crazy plans and working with my husband to execute those plans. I spend a huge amount of my day just dreaming about the next project.
So the thought process went something like this. We want a coop. We live in the country. We got married in a country chapel. Let's build a beautiful country chapel on a hill.
I had a plan. Then as plans usually go, I started to add to it. A chapel has stained glass. If I'm going to make stained glass, maybe I should go ahead and add a chicken theme.
