I often wonder how to properly "distress" something. Usually I think distressing something is just sanding a bit. But of course, there is more to it than that. This tutorial is wonderful. It explains how to not only distress something, it also shows you how to make your own stencil. (Some contact paper, a Kinkos print and spray paint)
