Before & After: End Table Love

Hello Everyone!

I got this wonderful end table from my mother-in-law. I was looking for an end table with a drawer for a while. I didn't want to buy one (what's the fun in that?) so I was just waiting to find something. One weekend we go back to visit, there's the perfect table siting in the shop waiting for me! My mother-in-law had found in a recently passed relatives house waiting to be taken to Goodwill.

I did the normal sanding and painting. I had this paint sitting around from a mistint find. Love this color..can't believe it was returned! I replaced the knob with a more modern one. I absolutely love the result. Much better than buying a cheap one from a retail store! Plus, the drawer is perfect for my lap top. Finally, I can keep the computer out of sight and out of my daughter's hands!

You know when this picture was taken? Yes, Easter morning. There's an egg read to be found. :) I also scored the basket at a junk shop a few weeks go. It's perfect for my daughter's books.
